Having a community app for a brand is nothing new. It’s been followed ever since the digital age has begun. Do you remember forums? Well, Community apps are a kind of forums that are designed in the form of responsive mobile apps. Every top brand is following this method to engage with their fans. For instance, OnePlus has got its community app available in the Play Store to download. Through this app, every user who purchased their product can actively participate in it. A user can do many things through a community app.

POCO Global & POCO India

This is an open secret. POCO India is different from POCO Global. When POCO has become independent from Xiaomi, the company was divided into POCO Global & POCO India. POCO Global was headed by Mr Kevin Qui and it manages every aspect of the brand worldwide. On the other hand, POCO India was managed by Mr Anuj Sharma and he overlooks the brand aspects of POCO in India.

These two companies look the same but in reality, they are quite different. They were both managed by different people in different countries with the same name. In conclusion, the company in India takes their decisions on their own and POCO Global do not interfere in it. This is the reason why you don’t see various POCO products in India, that is released worldwide. For instance F3, F2 Pro was launched globally, whereas they are not available in India.

POCO Community India & POCO Community Global Apps

If you are familiar with POCO Global, then you might’ve seen its community app. It was launched recently in 2020. Before going independent, POCO used to use the MI community as their forum. However, since the brand officially came out from Xiaomi and became Independent, POCO community Global has become an official home to settle in for every user. Except for India, Its official app is available on Play Store to download globally.

The reason behind it might be the differences in the brand and the countries they operated in. As we all know, POCO India is different from POCO global, there might be a chance that POCO India is planning to design an app exclusive for its Indian market. This may be the reason why the official global app in the play store is showing as “Not Available in Your Country”.

How To Become A Part of POCO Community India:

Speaking about the community app, POCO India stated that the app is “Aimed to create an ecosystem for knowledge transfer and interesting discussions”. The full details were not revealed yet. However, they will be known to all on June 9th at 9 A.M.

POCO Community India App: What We Expect?

As building a forum from scratch is a tedious task, POCO India might go with the same interface as POCO Global. You can find the screenshot below to have a look at the POCO Global mobile app. The interface is designed based on and Blackish” colour palette that resembles the brand’s official colours. You can find them in the brand’s product boxes as well. I think POCO India will also opt for the same design interface for their app.

I’m a POCO User myself and has used the POCO Community Global app ever since it launched. I’m also chosen as one of the global brand’s POCO Enthusiast Team and reviewed their new release POCOX3 Pro. You can see them on POCO Global Community here.

My Experience with POCO Community (Global):

According to me, the global community app was good but it’s not perfect. Remember that the app has not even completed its 1st anniversary. It’s new and certainly got some flaws. However, the content and support in the app were amazing. I even got a chance to meet some amazing people through the app. The admins in the group are amazing and intuitive, especially Shine. He manages the whole global community and handles everything with ease. In addition to that, I loved being a part of that community just because of him.

Overall, I loved being a part of that team. Before that, I used to be a regular XDA/Reddit user. I never experienced the community experience until I entered POCO Global. Looking forward to some new experiences with POCO Indian Community.
